After A Visit To Tulum Many Consider Retiring In Mexico
Tulum is a charming beach town in Mexico that provides ample wildlife, ruins from the Mayan era, and is also perceived as an up and coming hotspot for superstars. The carefree daily life of such beach towns is the reason why a large number of Americans are mapping out how to retire to mexico. Situated just 80 miles south of Cancun, a major vacationer spot with high rise condos and resorts, Tulum is the complete opposite of modern vacationer destinations. Different from Cancun, Tulum is filled with natural reserves, dazzling beaches as well as rich heritage inherited from the Mayans. Tulum is known as a backpacker's dream as the crystal blue oceans catch the attention of vacation goers from all around the globe.
Close encounters with turtles
Recently, there was a great DailyMail.co.uk report written by Travel Editor Sarah Gordon. Sarah narrated her impressive experiences in Tulum. While traveling in Tulum, Sarah noticed that a large turtle was crawling towards the beach to lay eggs right outside her hotel. A large audience slowly collected to witness the ancient creature dig holes in the sand and lay over one hundred eggs. As the mother-to-be crept back into the ocean, it made many realize that nature was right outside the door in Tulum!
Tulum as an eco friendly destination
The key reason why a lot of people select Tulum as a vacation spot is because developers have not yet transformed the topography of this sleepy and historic beach town into a blossoming vacationer spot. Boutique hotels as well as beach cabanas line up the coasts of Tulum. The majority of these beaches engage in environmentally friendly behavior that make Tulum an exceptionally preferred holiday destination for nature lovers also. Celebrities such as Drew Barrymore, Sienna Miller, Amanda Seyfried as well as Natalie Imbruglia are often seen relaxing in this low key vacation destination.
