A Look Inside The North Face Vario 23 Tent
If you are looking to buy a 3 season 2 person tent you could do a lot worse than the North Face Vario 23 Tent. The Vario managed to win the award from backpacker magazine for best single wall tent in 2008 and is still a great tent. The reasons for the varios success are simple, it does what it is meant to do and does it very well. When spending your hard earnt money on a 3 season 2 person tent to avoid it being a waste of money you will want the tent to cover three main bases well.
One of the first things you will want the tent to do is be lightweight so you can carry it in your bag for long distances without too much hassle. At a maximum weight of 4 pounds 5 ounces the Vario does this very nicely.
the second thing that you will want to be assured of with your tent is that it is fully waterproof so you don't wake up in a puddle of water. the Vario also ticks his box as well it has fully seam sealed canopy as well as taped seams on the fully waterproof ultralight base.
Last but not least you will want a tent that can be put up quickly so you can escape a storm or so you get more time to relax. The Vario 23 tent also does well on this front the microclips enable the tent to be pitched quickly by clipping the tent to the poles rather than the fiddly job of threading them through e normal pole tunnels.
You will be glad to know the attributes of the North Face Vario 23 tent do not stop here, it has an abundance of other features that make it a surefire winner. For instance the amount of pockets inside the tent make storage easy. Also the vestibules add handy storage space at just over 6 feet square each. The high/low vents will help to keep condensation from building up throughout the night and keep the fresh ari flowing.
Another great feature is the upper level lift vent created using the brow pole, this allows the tent to work with the wind rather than against it, letting you have a comfortable night’s sleep without feeling as if you are going to be blown off the mountain.

I'm sure you will agree that the vario 23 stands above the other tents in this catagory when you consider all of the features mentioned here. This tent covers all the bases you want for a tent like this and then gives you more for good measure.
I am sure the North Face Vario 23 would make a very loyal companion on camping trips whether be in spring, summer or fall.
