Learning The Guitar
Playing the guitar now is lots of fun. I found that after getting over the sore guitar fingers I could play for much longer. Yes… your fingers will probably hurt too, when you first start playing the guitar. I’m glad they only hurt for a few weeks!
Once you get over the sore fingers there are some great advantages with playing the guitar. For example, you can take it anywhere. I just happen to love camping and backpacking. For more rustic trips, like camping, it's not a bad idea to bring an old guitar that you don't worry about.
Just imagine how much fun it is to have a guitar with you. If you are with people that also play the guitar, it's fun for them too to use your instrument.
For trips on an airplane, it's great to have a traveling guitar that is small enough to carry on the plane. There are some that can even fit on the airplanes overhead space.. Taking a full size guitar can be a real hassle simply because they often want you to pay the full ticket price for a seat for your instrument.
I don’t know if you’ve seen how the baggage people throw luggage around. I've heard more than one horror story how someone's good guitar was destroyed by attendants throwing it under planes. Travel guitars are perfect because they are so compact and lightweight it’s not a burden to carry them even off the plane. Then you can play them on your vacations.
The one I use is called a Backpacker, but I have also seen a number of other ones for sale. Why not have a good guitar, a beach guitar and a tiny travel guitar.With three guitars, you will ready for any occasion.
