Dublin is considered by many to be one of the best cities in Europe. It is a city that's rumoured to have the best beer in the world and it has an array of culture and heritage that a lot of people are not familiar with. A lot of people discover a great deal about the history of the capital during their stay! Many people come to the city and stay in Dublin hotels for the ultimate Dublin experience.
For the best Irish experience you should visit in the height of summer. This is perfect if you want to lounge around in the sun. This is not say that the it is not worth visiting during winter. Being wrapped up warm inside an old traditional pub next to a roaring fire at Christmas is sure to make your stomach sparkle. There are lots of pubs to explore whatever time of year you decide to visit!
Two of the most popular attraction in the city are the Guinness Storehouse and the Backpackers Pub Crawl. Up to 3 million people visit the Storehouse each year, and it cost a healthy £30 million to make! It was created solely for touristic reasons, and what a sight it is! The unique shape of the building is an incredible feature for this amazing attraction! If you're looking to meet new people whilst on holiday then you should seriously consider the pub crawl. It shows you the city in a friendly and proactive way. It is also perfect for those who love drinking! The trip will help you find your way around the city, so its ideal to take advantage of this at the begining of your stay. There is a lot of energy in both these tours so you won’t find yourself falling asleep. It might be worth looking at which hotels are based around both sites in order to avoid a long walk home.
You are sure to find a place to stay if you just turn up, but for the best deals and prices you should book early. Dublin hotels and hostels become very busy during peak season so you should try and book your arrangements relatively early. For those of you travelling in a big group this is very important. Small groups will find it a lot easier to find somewhere to stay together, so if you're in a big group then you should book well ahead.
