Hi! My name is Britta. In this blog I want to inspire you with my stories & captivating photography from my past and future experiences as a traveler, volunteer and development aid advisor in Kenya Nairobi.<\/p>\n

Born and raised in Germany I have spent \u00a0the past 7 years living in Sweden where I have been working for multinational companies. Marketing is my profession, photography my hobby and social causes my passion.<\/p>\n

Work and my passion for traveling has taken me around the globe since many years and I am always carrying a camera with me. In 2011 I was asked to join a series of photo books by a German publisher and I decided to publish my work in two photo books about South America and Southern Africa which are available on Amazon. (check the link on the sidebar)<\/p>\n

Two years ago I decided to take a short break from my office job to pursue one of my personal goals: Volunteering for a social cause. I spent two months volunteering for a small local NGO in the highlands of Cameroon which I am still supporting.<\/p>\n

Now this year something came up in my inbox that I just could not resist taking: I have been offered a job to work as Marketing consultant for the Austrian development service organization in a project working with community development in the biggest slum of Nairobi, Kenya. I quit my job at a reputable multinational company and will soon be moving to Kenya for the next 2-3 years.<\/p>\n
