Boasts, Britz As Well As Backpacker Help With Keeping New Zealand Fresh And Green
Recycling facilities launched at Auckland and Christchurch twigs of Maui, Britz and Backpacker.
Maui, Britz and Backpacker campervans is helping to keep New Zealand green cleaner with the introduction of LoveNZ recycling facilities for customers to make use of at their key Auckland as well as Christchurch divisions..
The statement comes as recently launched research by Tourism Fresh Zealand (TNZ) showed that, based on international guests, the largest problems with New Zealand's environment are kitty - and having less recycling amenities.
Maui, Britz and Backpacker Basic Manager Marketing and advertising, Kate Meldrum, said the company had often encouraged recycling amongst the staff but had been inspired to up the ante soon after hearing about the Ministry for the Environment's "LoveNZ - Recycle with Care" initiative.
"We view it as a fantastic way of assisting our customers with proper places to dispose their particular waste and help enhance New Zealand's green cleaner picture, " said Kate.
Surroundings Minister Trevor Mallard said it had been fantastic to see the government's initiative being acquired by individual tourism businesses.
